Life 2.0
Are you a disillusioned Gen X or Baby Boomer who would love to reinvent yourself, reawaken your dreams, recapture your youth, and live the life you've always dreamed of?
If so, then you're in the right place...
Hello, nice to meet you!
I'm Chris
Hitting the big SIX OH! was a time to celebrate, and also a time to reflect.
- A time to take stock.
- A time to re-evaluate.
- A time to seriously think about making changes before it's too late.
Six decades have passed and life has NOT gone according to plan!
The place I landed that fateful day looked very different to the picture I painted in my youth.
The School of Hard Knocks compounded with the University of Life, the trials and tribulations of work, the frustration of failed finances, and foils of family had finally taken their toll.
But there's still time.
Time for a second shot.
A shot at Life 2.0
If you're in the same boat, then I invite you to join me on a journey of discovery and enlightenment.
Make your swansong a blast, have FUN, and finally live the life you deserve.
Are you in?

Would you like to flourish in your freedom years?
Maybe I can help?
Let's start by taking a step back...
The Problem...
Is we were never taught how or what to expect from life.
Noone gave us a manual, blueprint, or set of instructions.
We had to figure it out ourselves.
And we all make mistakes along the way
I know, I've made many.
As long as we learn from our mistakes, we stand a chance.
A chance to learn from them and take a different path.
So what's the solution?
Is there a manual to living a wonderful life?
A blueprint maybe?
The closest I found was when I discovered goal setting early in my career.
A hot topic many voices contribute to.
I feel like I've tried everything in the last four decades.
Perhaps you have too?
Some ideas made sense and I had some successes.
Others sported wild ideas and rituals bordering on the whacky.
But there was one that resonated with me.
I tried many others, but I kept coming back to this one.
It focused on setting goals in, what seemed to me, five essential areas of life.
It came from a company called Nightingale Conant
You may have heard of them.
They are a major publisher of self-improvement programmes, and I've bought many of their products over the years.
The five essential areas of life they focus on are:
Health
There are five ingredients of happiness that are common to every person, everywhere, under all circumstances. The first of these is high levels of health and energy.
Friends & Family
The second ingredient of happiness is loving relationships with your family and others.
Business & Career
The third requirement for happiness is meaningful work, work that makes a difference and that you do well.
Financial
The fourth ingredient of happiness is financial freedom.
Personal
The fifth ingredient is the ability to express your individuality, the opportunity to use your unique talents and abilities in a way that gives you deep satisfaction.
If you'd like a copy of their original report that inspired me, you can get your copy here
Please note that I received this is a free report.
It was obviously intended to encourage me to buy more of their products.
It worked!

I'm not an affiliate and get no reward for sharing this.
I'm just including it here to share what I've learnt from Vic Conant.
Who knows, it may inspire you to check them out and see if anything they offer appeals to you.

In one of my many reflective moments in recent years I felt it needed a little extra.
As I rapidly advance into my more mature years, I see thing differently than when I started my journey.
The five areas Vic discusses are still relevant - and important.
But life today adds a few other dimensions.
For me, the two most important additions are Contribution and Life Tech.
My reasoning is simple:
- What we contribute gives our lives meaning.
- And in the 21st century technology is not a luxury - it's a basic survival tool.
My personal life management toolkit now comprises of these seven areas, and it works for me.
Maybe it'll work for you too?
Or perhaps you can adapt it to suit your own circumstances and needs, as I have with Vic's original five?
I said earlier that no one ever gave us a life manual or instruction kit when we started out.
If they had it might have looked like this.
If you've ever had a coach or studied coaching, you'll no doubt recognise the 'Wheel of Life',
[ Wheel of Life image seven areas Health, Money, Business + Career, Relationships, Personal, Contribution, Life Tech ]
The 'Wheel of Life' is a common coaching tool and an extremely useful one.
It helps you see where you are right now. It gives you the 'Big Picture' with clarity.
It helps you identify where you want to be at some point in your future.
And it helps you create a path to get to where you really want to be.
It still helps me today when I coach and mentor my clients (and myself!)
But life is about the journey not Just the destination.
The 'Wheel of My Life" helps me chart my course and guide me on my next adventure.
My course.
My adventure.
One, I hope, that includes good health, financial freedom, endless fun and love shared doing meaningful things with wonderful people.
Maybe you'll become one of them?
Right now, my adventure is to travel and experience the "Laptop Lifestyle,"
A long held dream I’ve yet to live.
That's the starting point for my adventure I’m calling Life 2.0
An adventure that will take me on a path of conscious reinvention to enjoying being the new FREE ME!

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
Lao Tzu
It's been in the works a while.
Too long actually.
"Life" got in the way but now I want to break free.
I thought I needed a coach to help me make this major life change.
I've had many - some helpful, others less so.
A hidden truth slowly dawned on me - or should I say one day reality slapped me in the face?
I have enough knowledge, life experience, scars, failures and successes of life, plus personal insights to fulfil my dream.
I need to stop looking outside and focus within.
I have everything I need to be my own coach.
I just need to get out my own damned way!
I've been lazy and lacked the discipline that rewarded me in the past.
My toolbox is now organised into these seven drawers.
Each drawer containing a lifetime of experience, lessons, tools, knowledge, and stories to draw upon and share as my adventure unfolds.
I think my toolkit is complete.
But my blueprint - my plan - may not be perfect.
It never will be, life will see to that!
But its perfectly good enough.
Perfectly good enough to take my first step,
Whatever's missing I'll figure out along the way.
But it will no longer stop me from starting.
I've already hit my "GO" button.
Are you ready to hit yours??
Would you like to join me?
Do you want to chart your own path?
Do you want your swansong to be a blast?
Perhaps my stories and life experiences will inspire you, or even give you hope?
Would borrowing some tools from my toolbox fill a few gaps in yours to help you on your way?
Maybe it'll give you that little nudge that's been holding you back for far too long.
Or do you just want a travel buddy to share your journey with?
That's my goal for this adventure I'm calling LIFE 2.0
Start Your Journey Now!
Your journey - whatever it may be - starts by taking stock of where you are right now.
It's the VERY FIRST STEP.
The first step of an adventure you've yet to start.
I've hit my GO button.
And you can do the same by taking that same first step.
Take stock of where you are right now.
All you need to do is...
In just a few minutes you'll have your results
That's the first step completed.
You've started your journey
Do it now before you forget or get distracted.
It only takes a few minutes.
I'll grab a drink and wait for you on the other side.
I'll be there to share your results with you in just a few minutes.
and let's get your show on the road!
Let's GO...
